Tap the Install button to re-download the app.On your device, go to the App Store and locate the CPT app.Step D – Reinstall the CPT app to the device When complete, you can proceed to the next step. Allow the device to continue starting up.Press and hold the device’s power button until you see the screen power on and the Apple logo appear on the screen.
This process can take as long as 30 seconds to complete.
Swipe the slider and allow the device to continue powering down. Press and hold the device’s power button until you see the red “Slide to Power Off” slider appear. Tap the device’s Home button to exit the app deletion mode. You should see a black circle with a white “X” appear over the icon. Exit out of the CPT app by tapping on the device’s Home button. Okay, we were just making sure… Step B – Remove the CPT app from the device STOP! You did complete Step A and created a backup of your CPT database, right? This is your last chance to do so before the database is deleted when the app is removed from the device. At a minimum, you must backup the file named: “CPT_PrimaryDiary.sqlite” This is the database file that holds all of your Diary data. Select all of them and click Save To button to save them to a safe location on your Mac/PC. In the documents window, you will see one or more files and folders. For CPT Lite, this will be labeled Pain Tracker LITE. For CPT Pro, this will be labeled Pain Tracker PRO. Scroll down to the File Sharing section and click on the Pain Tracker app icon. Click on the device in the left hand tree menu, then click on Apps along the upper menu. Connect your device to iTunes running on your Mac/PC. The instructions apply to both versions of the app unless specifically noted. NOTE: We’ll use the generic term CPT in these instructions to refer to both the Chronic Pain Tracker PRO and LITE app versions.
